Thomas Carrell
Founder, Agent "Build Relationships Not Profits"
Thomas Founded The Ohana Investment Group in 2018 after researching some of the best ways to short the dollar. He decided to create a business that would help others do the same. What started as just investments quickly grew into a full-service real estate business for buying, selling, investing, renovating real estate, and property management. ​ Thomas is a life long entrepreneurial spirit from Fort Worth. He received a degree in physics and has a background in construction management, creating a perfect cocktail of experience and skills to help anyone with their real estate goals. ​ When he isn't being a workaholic you can find him spending time with his beautiful wife and two kids. He enjoys action sports like skating and snowboarding or anything that can get his adrenaline going.
Raymond O'Connor III
Managing Partner, Real Estate Broker
Raymond "Ray" joined Ohana Investment Group in 2019 and is a co-owner of the company. He has years of big boy asset management experience and has personally managed the underwriting for acquisitions and dispositions in excess of 100 million dollars. He is Ohana's resident broker and has a deep wealth of knowledge that he passes onto our team and clients. Ray received a bachelors from Texas Tech and his masters from Texas A&M prior to his real estate career. When he isn't killing it in real estate or making personal acquisitions he's shredding local trails on his bike. Ray is also a sneaky good salsa dancer. He is the best asset Ohana has to date and is always willing to lend a helping hand.
Katie Carrell

Katie began by working alongside her husband of 10 years, Thomas, when he founded The Ohana Investment Group in 2018 renovating and rehabilitating investment properties. Katie takes after her father, as a welder, inventor and designer he taught her there isn't a problem you can't create a solution to. This upbringing instilled a drive and determination strongly displayed through her work ethic to this day. ​ Katie's previous career was as a Certified Labor Doula and Childbirth Educator. After the birth of their first of two beautiful children, Katie's passion for family values and the respect for a woman's journey into motherhood pushed her into an intimate and incredibly rewarding career that was made much more difficult to practice during the pandemic. After 5 years in the birth world with her side gig in real estate she finally took the plunge! ​ Katie is our newest agent but don't let that fool you. The last 4 years she has assisted in procuring and purchasing her personal investment properties, managing and working hands-on in her investments rehabs and flips as well as managing those properties as rentals. With her real estate license there's nothing she can't do! ​ Katie is eager to put her drive, personality and core values to work for you and your family. Whether you are ready to sell, buy, invest or need someone to manage your rental properties, she's your first call!
Vanessa Olivas
Office & Property Management Assistant
Vanessa started working for the Ohana Investment Group in January of 2023. She recently obtained an associates degree, and is currently pursuing a Criminal Justice degree with a minor in law & legal studies at a local university, and is expected to graduate during spring of 2025. ​ In between school and work, Vanessa is commissioned to create custom calligraphy pieces for weddings, birthdays, graduations, and many more events. She creates nearly all of our social media graphics too! ​ She assists us with all of our everyday tasks, and has even taken on some of the property management responsibilities despite her short time here. She is a very valuable addition to our team! ​ ​ ​ ​ ​
